SOLUTION: Accidentally solved it by fiddling around in the steam big picture controller settings, not sure what actually solved it. Upon starting the game I tried to set up my wheel in the settings but it won't show up. It has worked in the past and I don't know why it isn't working now.
Just restart the game. And remember to always plug and power on the wheel first before running the game application. If you power on the wheel after the game, the game will not detect the wheel. The game only detects your components at the first load up just one time.
My PC tells me that the steering wheel is operating normally. The drivers have been re-downloaded as has the ATS game/program. Therefore the device is working properly. I've checked the cabling too but if it was a cabling issue the buttons wouldn't work and the device wouldn't be seen in the drop down wizard.
My logitech g29 racing wheel is being picked up when i go to settings in ets2 but when i go to configure it, it just does not pick up the wheel. I have download the Logitech Gaming software and made a profile for Ets2 i have also tried trouble shooting this problem and everyone that I've seen says Keyboard+logitech steering wheel USB. I can't
Go through the setup wizard and make sure that your pedals and keyboard are shown. Then you can do the pedal actions to set each pedal for maximum operation. Set the invert option if required. my pedals arnt shown within ETS2 just the Steering wheel is i think it just says. keyboard + Thrustmaster Advanced Mode Racer.
Make sure G Hub has either found or has been pointed to the location of "eurotrucks2.exe" and "amtrucks.exe" in its list of games. (Even if you aren't setting custom profiles for them, it still needs to know about them.) Back in the game, move one of the FFB sliders a little bit and see if the wheel "wakes up" and starts to react to the FFB
I think I have a problem with my Logitech G920 steering wheel; the Force FeedBack stops responding in-game. The truck steers as "without power steering", the bumps on a dirt road are no longer passed on, so I don't think the collisions anymore (I haven't had one since ːsteamhappyː. Somewhere in the discussion thread I found something that you had to download an "earlier version" of the G-hub
I've been digging, but it appears they never made a 64-bit driver for that wheel. Some issue at the time of Microsoft not certifying their drivers for that wheel so they never released 64-bit for it. Dammit. For a long time ive wanted to experience playing this chill game with a steering wheel cause keyboard dosent feel right. I got it for $10
Wheel Not Centering with 1.30 [SOLVED] Wheel centering isn't working at all for me in ETS2 1.30. It is working just fine in ATS and worked when I played ETS2 before. Wheel is a Logitech G25. No settings in the profiler or in-game make any difference - there is no resistance and the wheel does not center itself at any vehicle speed.
